      In 1 Samuel and later in the book of Acts , David is called a man after God’s own heart. This intrigued me. I sought to do a study of David’s life using 1 Samuel 16 through 1 Kings 2 and “walk with David” and try to learn why King David had this title.   Bible verses about walking with God. When you walk with someone obviously you won’t be going in opposite directions. If you walk in a different direction you can’t listen to them, you can’t enjoy them, you can’t share things with them, and you won’t be able to understand them.
